The immune system is our body’s natural defense system. It is composed by a group of organs and special cells that protect us from infections and diseases. Sleep at least 8 hours
Everybody loves to rest but it is also a necessity. When we do it less than we need, we wake up the next day with fewer reflexes, a lower capacity to concentrate and, of course, much more tired than usual. Good rest is the key to maintaining both mental and physical balance.
Stay away from stress
Stress causes our body to go into alarm mode and nervousness is triggered. Although it is not always easy, we must try to take things calmly and focus on the positive aspects that surround us. In this way, we will be able to give our immune system the rest it needs to carry out its function.
This is a powerful way to strengthen the immune system. It gets our antibodies and white blood cells circulating faster, which means they can detect and target viruses more quickly. Staying active in this way also lowers stress hormones, which reduces your body’s levels.
A healthy and balanced diet
It’s important to eat zinc and vitamins A, B, C, and E found in fish, green leafy vegetables, legumes, red meat, seafood, nuts, and citrus fruits, kiwi, strawberries or melon. These are essential to strengthen our immune system. Reduce or avoid refined and fried foods as much as possible.
Avoid sudden temperature changes
